Making a VoIP Call

A VoIP Call (Voice over Internet Protocol) allows a user to make voice calls using an internet connection instead of a regular telephone phone line. Calls made to a VoIP number allow sharing of a phone number across multiple devices, which means the call can be answered from any device, which will eliminate missed calls from Patients. VoIP calls are cheaper than regular calls and have a higher-quality sound.

The system records the call and saves the conversation and any notes made to the electronic file of the Debtor/Patient with whom the call was. 

Before users are able to use VoIP Calls the settings will need to be configured. For more information regarding the configuration, please refer to the user manuals: Voip Settings and Entity Setup.

Please Note: Making VoIP Calls is an extra service for which users need to be signed up at an additional fee.


Dial from the Patient Booking on the Diary screen
  • Log in to the GoodX WebApp with your username and password.
  • The Diary screen will open. 


  • Click on the booking of the Patient that the user would like to call.


  • The Diary Sidebar will open.


  • Click on the Dial button to initiate a call to the Patient.


  • The Call Event - Workflow Event screen will open.

Dial from the Debtors Sidebar on the Debtors Screen
  • From the Diary screen Click on the Navigation Wheel.


  • Click on the Debtors Segment.


  • The Debtors screen will open.


  • Click on the desired Debtor to whom you would like to make a call to open the sidebar.


  • Click on the Dial button to open the Call Event screen from where the call can be made.



Dial from the Invoice Management Screen
  • From the Diary screen Click on the Navigation Wheel.


  • Click on the Debtors Segment.


  • The Debtors screen will open.


  • Click on the Invoice Management tab.


  • Click on the Invoice Line of the Patient you would like to make a call to open the Debtor Info sidebar.


  • Click on the Dial button to open the Call Event screen from where the call can be made.
