Adding a Treating Practitioner from the Settings Screen
Why Use This Function:
💡Please Note: A Treating Practitioner can also be added from the Practitioner List tab. For more information, please refer to the user manual: How to Add a New Practitioner
The Contents of This User Manual:
- Add a New Treating Practitioner
- Edit a New Treating Practitioner
- This user manual will start on the Diary screen.

- Click on the Settings button in the top right corner.
- The Settings screen will open.
- Click on the Entity Setup tab.
- Click on the Treating Practitioner Setup panel to expand the options.

Add a New Treating Practitioner
Adding a new Treating Practitioner to your Practice.- Click on the Add or Edit Treating Practitioner button.
- The Treating Practitioner screen will open. All the Treating Practitoner that's on the system will display here.
- Click on the Add New Practitioner button to create a New Treating Practitioner.
- The Add/Edit Practitioner screen will open.

💡Please Note: Not all the fields have to be completed. The Title, Initials, Surname, Practice Nr, SAMDC, Cell Nr and Email are important fields that should be completed. This information should be double-checked to make sure it is 100% correct, as the claims will be sent through to the Medical Aid with this information of the Practitioner. If the details eg, the Practice number, are incorrect, the claims will not be paid out to the Practice.
- Click on the Save button when all the details are completed.
- When the Treating Practitioner has been created, their details will display under the Treating Practitioner Setup Panel.
Edit a New Treating Practitioner
You are able to update or edit Practitioners' information when needed to keep information up to date and accurate.- Click on the Edit button.
- The Add/Edit Practitioner screen will open for you to edit the Treating Practitioners information.
- Click on the Save button.
