Stock
Your stock on hand in GoodX reflects what has been recorded in the system, while your physical stock may differ due to timing or unrecorded changes.
Common reasons include:
- Stock not yet captured – New deliveries or purchases have not been entered into the system
- Stock sold but not recorded – Items were used or removed without recording a sale or usage
- Missing stock adjustments – Damaged, expired, or returned items were not updated in the system
Keeping your stock records up to date and performing regular stock takes will help ensure accuracy.
Creditors
No, creditors do not have to be VAT registered in order to be added to the system as a supplier.
When capturing creditor details, you are given the option to indicate whether the supplier is VAT-registered or not, allowing you to differentiate accordingly.
Accounting
No, you cannot simply edit or delete an invoice once it has been finalised in GoodX. This is because invoices form part of your official financial and audit records.
To correct a mistake, you will need to reverse or correct the invoice using the appropriate process. This ensures your accounts remain accurate and compliant.
Reports
Yes. You can use the Debtor Statistics Report to gain insight into your billing performance.
By grouping and filtering the report by Medical Aid Scheme, you can view all schemes billed by your practice, along with the total amounts billed to each.
This helps you identify trends and better understand which codes and schemes contribute most to your revenue.
