System Requirements

Software requirements for GoodX Web

1. To use GoodX Web, you have to install either Google Chrome or Safari as your Internet browser.
2. Please make sure your version of Google Chrome is newer than version 8.0.
3. To check for the version, open Google Chrome, click on the ellipse on the right-hand side, click on help and click on About Google Chrome.
4. If you are using a tablet, it is preferable that you use a 10 inch or bigger tablet and that it is an Android or iPad.
5. For Dental, Periodontal and Orthodontist screen size should be 23 inch or bigger.

Cloud

1. Any device with an RDP client (non-printing) can be used to connect to the GoodX Cloud.
2. For printing, we suggest using Windows 10+, so that printers are automatically forwarded using easy-print or using TSprint (3rd party client that needs to be installed).
3. We recommend certain label printers but we will also perform tests on others if supplied, but with no guarantees.
4. Internet with good latency to samrand.goodx.co.za is recommended. A good connection to the GoodX Cloud is the client's responsibility.
5. Minimum screen resolution 1920 x 1080.
6. Dentists who want to sync clinical information are not recommended to use the cloud because of the heavy media usage over internet lines.

 PLEASE NOTE:

• We require a wired/cabled network in order for GoodX Software to work. If you have a wireless network it could lead to data corruption.
• Fixed IP Address is required on a server if non-cloud.
• These requirements are based on GoodX requirements only. If you are running any other software ( X-rays, OCT etc) that will add load to your machines, the suggested specifications of the hardware will have to be adjusted accordingly.
• It is always recommended when purchasing hardware that you engage with GoodX to understand your specific setup so that we can advise you accurately.
• GoodX can provide you with the required hardware.
