How to Make a Booking as a Non Registered User (Logged Out)
This function continues from Function -2 Search (logged out). A potential user can get a feel of the booking process on myGC. To finish a booking, the user will be required to register on myGC.
- The myGC screen will appear when you search for the myGC App on your desktop.

- Click on the Near Me button to see the available doctors that are close to the user's location.

- The myGC results screen will appear, with all the available doctors that are near the user.

- Select the correct doctor that you want to see.

- Click once on the correct timeslot that will suit you the best for the consultation.
- The Make a booking screen will appear.

- The following information will appear:
- At the top is a progress bar, which tells you at what stage you are at on the Make a booking process. Take note, when a stage is completed the circle will be filled.

- The Doctor's information will appear, you can call the practice, see the practice location or send an email.

- Your booking details with the Type of appointment, Date and time will appear.

- Click on the Next Step button to proceed to next stage.

- The Fill in your details screen will appear.

- Complete the following information:
- First name(s): Enter your first name, as it will be used on your account.
- Surname: Enter your surname.
- Mobile number: Enter the cell phone number for the account to where the SMS can be sent to.
- Email address: Enter the correct email address to where emails can be sent to.
- ID number: Enter the correct South African Identification Document number.
- Date of Birth: The app will automatically pull the date of birth through as it is entered by the ID number.
- Gender: The app will automatically state whether the user is Female or Male by using the ID number.
- Password: Create your own password for the app.
- Please confirm your password: Enter your created password again to confirm.
- I agree to be registered on myGC: Tick the box if you agree.

- Click on the Next Step button when the details are completed.

- The Complete the booking screen will appear. An OTP pin will be sent to your mobile number.

- The following information will appear:
- I am the patient for this booking: Tick the switch if you are the patient, if not, you are able to choose a family member from the list of family members on your account.

- I am responsible for the account payment (i.e main member): If you are responsible for the account, tick the switch, otherwise, enter the First name and Surname of the person responsible.

- I want to complete my Medical Aid details now (recommended): The user is allowed to enter the Medical Aid details such as the Medical Aid Scheme, Medical Aid Option, and the Medical Aid Number.

Example of the OTP SMS:

- Tick the I accept the Terms and Conditions box, otherwise, the user won't be able to create a booking.

- Click on the Make Booking button to create your booking.

- The Booking made! screen will appear.

- An SMS will be sent to your mobile number to confirm your booking, and to send you a link with instructions to follow.

- Your booking is made, don't forget to attend your consultation.
